CHECK-IN (at registration area):
Team Captains hand in final team roster (maximum of 20), signed insurance waivers, receive and distribute T-shirts and wristbands for team, Contest Rules, and get assigned a numbered Captain’s Bib. Team Captain will not get his bib until all of members of his/her team are present and checked-in as team will compete in this order.
TEAM STAGING AREA:
Team name and Captain’s bib will be checked/recorded. All team members will be checked for wristbands. Teams will pull in Bib number order so it’s important to keep track of team names and Bib numbers. Teams will be escorted to the On Deck Area when called.
TEAM ON DECK AREA:
Once all members are in the On Deck Area, they will be held until told to line up next for their Team Photo.
TEAM PHOTO:
Photographer must ensure that Captain’s Bib number and/or Team Name Sign is visible in each photo.
ROPE LINE UP
After team photo, the team will be called to line up in front of the tank along the Pull Rope for their Fastest Pull competition.
FASTEST PULL (timed)
All team members pull the tank 12 feet. Results will be posted for each team after they compete.
LOWEST COMBINED WEIGHT PULL (2 minute time limit)
Team selects members to pull the tank for the Lowest Combined Weight Pull competition. Remaining team members must stand inside the LCW StandBy Area. Individuals can help their team if called upon.
WEIGH IN:
Immediately after the Lowest Combined Weight Pull competition, all members of the team who participated in the LCW Pull will be escorted to the Weigh In Area, where they will be placed on the scale and weighted. Participating team members may not remove any clothing or equipment worn during the pull (such as gloves, shoes, belts, etc.). Once the LCW group has been weighted, all team members must then leave the competition area and return to the spectator area. Results will be posted for each team after they compete.
TROPHIES
Will be awarded after all teams have competed, for the top three teams in the Fastest Pull, Lowest Combined Weight Pull, and Fundraising competition.
